Salou & PortAventura | Photo Diary

If you know me then you'll know one of my favourite places to go on a holiday to is Salou, Spain. I've been about five times growing up and fall in love with it every time that I go, it's a beautiful city, with so much to do and amazing weather. One of the places I always visit and love to go to is the PortAventura theme park, which is a beautifully themed park with an array of rides to suit every age. I thought I'd share some of my favourite photos in a photo diary as they all make me so happy.

This is the view of the park when you first enter, giving you a view of the park's top attractions, Shambala, Dragon Khan, and Hurakan Condor.

Just like Disney and Universal, you can meet characters on your travels around this park, such as Woody and Wendy Woodpecker, Betty Boop and Seasame Street characters.

Ferrari Land opened last year and is a new theme park which has the tallest roller coaster in Europe, Red Force. In the second photo is the Shambala which was previously the tallest coaster in Europe.

Views of Shamala and Dragon Khan, the tallest coasters in the park.

This is the pool from the PortAventura hotel, and the best waffle that you will ever try.

This is the view from the entrance at the other side where you can see attractions such as Furious Baco, and Red Force in the back which is part of their new theme park Ferrari Land, the second photo is from the Wild West themed area.

Has anyone ever been here before or would like to visit?

Amsterdam | Travel Diary

I feel like Amsterdam is the place where everyone is going recently, and I can see why. It really is such a beautiful city, the buildings, layout and places to see are just stunning. I love the architecture of all the buildings, they're all so unique and pretty. It's easy to navigate around whether you're walking, cycling or using any public transport. I love the cycling culture, I did try my hand at cycling and loved it, even though I could never do it at home. There's so many museums and interesting places to visit if you're a tourist and I didn't get to do much of it so I say I will visit again in the future. As always I thought I'd share a few photos from my trip.

Of course you need your canal photos, what kind of tourist would I be without it?

Even their train station is prettier than any other I've seen.

Has anyone been to visit Amsterdam before? What was your favourite place?

Paris & Disneyland Paris | Photo Diary

If you didn't know I recently went on holidays to the beautiful city which is Paris! I visited some amazing places in my time there and thought it would be good to share some (my favourite being Disneyland Paris which I actually have a vlog of up on my Youtube here if that's your kind of thing). I had an abundance of pastries and macrons over there and loved literally everything, we did the most tourist-y things also so if you're planning on visiting Paris soon you might want to check these places out!

Obviously the most tourist place in Paris is the Eiffel Tower so that was first on our list of spots to visit, and we were so lucky with the weather in the week.

This is the view from the Eiffel Tower, not from the top though that's waaay to high for me.

The view from the Arc du Triomphe onto the Champs Elysee.

The outside of the Louvre which I have to say was very impressive.

The inside of the Louvre and of course Sleeping Beauties Castle in Disneyland (My favourite place in the whole world).

The Tower of Terror which is simultaneously my favorite and least favorite ride.

The entrance to Hollywood Studios and my other fave ride Hyperspace Mountain, which is better than I remember it being.

Main Street USA on the 25th Anniversary.

Notre Dame Cathedral, in which I sang the Hunchback of Notre Dame songs continuously.

My favourite meal of the trip which had a view of Notre Dame just along the Seine.

The view of Notre Dame from the very top, which was a lot of stairs.

The Eiffel Tower at night and when it sparkles is my favorite thing ever, it only sparkles between eleven pm and five past so make sure your there then!

Has anyone been to Paris before? What's your favourite place to visit?

Life Updates & Chat

Feels like forever since I've sat down and written a post. From one reason to another I haven't had the time or capacity to blog recently and instead of just starting back into the swing of things I thought I'd do a little chatty post to try and get myself back into the blog spirit. Also just to have a little chat as I'm kind of afraid to post a new post after it feels like so long, even though it's only probably been a month. I thought I'd just ramble on and ease myself back into the writing routine, it might not be that interesting but you might be nosy like me so enjoy the insight into my life. Here's a few updates anyway.

  • I started back to University this month and I've been so tired after the days I don't have the energy to blog, also I have a lot of Uni work to do anyway, which means a lot of coffee. Bloggers deserve more credit for the work they do even though their lives are still so busy. I'm loving being back and learning new things but I definitely need to get back into college mode, I'm almost there. I also started a new job a month or two ago so I'm settling into that too. There's so much good change and good things happening so hopefully it keeps up like this.
  • I've actually tried to blog recently and have a few things slightly written but my camera conveniently broke, so I have no access to the photos I've previously taken so it's taking much longer to get things done, and I need to find a new way to upload photos now, bear with me.
  • It was my birthday last week and I had such a lovely time seeing friends and family. I feel so old now too, but I ate a huge amount of cake and that makes getting older much better.
  • I've so much to look forward to with events and concerts coming up and I feel so busy and it's so exciting. I am visiting London next week and I'm super super excited. If anyone has any suggestions to where I should go or whats good to visit please let me know as I want to make the most of it and don't know what to do!
  • I feel like I've grown so much over the last few months and hope my blog can continue to grow with me and I hope to have new and interesting content up soon, so I hope you stick around. If you want to suggest posts you like seeing that would be helpful too.
Hope you've all been well over the past month or so, what has everyone been up to?  I'd love to hear some good things in your life at the moment!

Weekend Away | Photo Diary

I'm back to the usual college routine at the moment and life feels like it's getting back into it's usual busy order, which is tiring. Before I went back to this though myself and the boyfriend decided to go on a little weekend away before everything got hectic in our lives again. We went up by train and traveled to Galway which is a pretty big city in Ireland, if you didn't know where it was. I've previously posted about a trip here before and I really love the city and it's right on the coast so it's such a perfect destination. I thought I'd try do a photo diary as I love taking photos when I'm travelling and also love documenting it. Hopefully you enjoy.

This was the view from our hotel room, it was close to the city centre and the beach. I thought the view was very pretty.

On our way to the city centre everyday we took a stroll along the beach, this is along Salthill beach. Also a picture of us enjoying being by the beach when it wasn't raining (it rained a lot).
Along the beach was a pier for diving and trust me, it was way too cold to even think of doing that. Although it was always dull and cold it was still beautiful.

Main Street in Galway is covered in flags and bunting and I love the look of it, it always looks busy and happy. Eyre Square is the focal point of the city and contains beautiful statues and historical sights.

Our first night there we visited a very nice Italian restaurant which I loved, where we got margaritas and roast potatoes, they were amazing and still look delicious.

We also visited the local aquarium which was cute and interesting. It's such a cute date place.

Around the city centre is some really interesting historic places, which I learned about from the museum and the walks from the rivers to the ocean are so pretty and tranquil to walk, we did a lot of this.

I had such a relaxing trip away, it makes me wish I lived near the ocean. I hope you enjoyed looking through some of the photos of my trip.
