Colour Counterpart | Outfit

I always think that Summer means a lot of outfit posts and although it does, I always forget to take them, even when I have great outfits on. Although I've been working almost every day this summer and a lot of my outfits are not the summer outfits I've been looking forward to wear all year but I love when I do get a chance to enjoy the sun and wear cute outfits. I'm getting to go away again at the end of the year and I will get a week of that and sun so I am very excited and hopefully will have a lot of content after. I saw this wall while out exploring last week and realised that the colours on the wall matched my rainbow shirt, and I'm a sucker for a painted wall.

Primark Chocolate Range | Review

I know Primark are getting really good at their makeup game, especially making dupes and similar products to popular ones out there, like Kim and Kylie Kardashians range. Now I don't ever really try their skin products often because I had a bad brake out because of one before so I try to test their other products. Recently they released a range based on Chocolate, which I think looks a lot like Too Faced Chocolate palette and other products. Primark do have a chocolate palette themselves which smells the same as the Too Faced one but it didn't have any interesting shades so I didn't buy it. Instead I thought I'd try the Chocolate Molten Gloss - which is very similar in packaging to Too Faced melted lipsticks, and the Chocolate highlighter because it looked very pretty. 

The Primark Chocolate molten Gloss was very disappointing for me, when I swatched it, it seemed to be very pigmented and not very glossy and glittery - but more matte and it does smell like chocolate. Yet when applied to the lips it washed my skin tone out and made my lips look very colourless. It was very glittery on, and not very glossy. I think it might be good on top of another lipstick, but by itself I would not wear it again. I think that the packaging is pretty and that it is very like the idea of Too Faced melted lipsticks, but it is no where near as nice. The lip liner that comes with it is nice but not very strong in colour, it isn't hard to apply but it looks like it could be twisted up but doesn't twist. It's not the worst but not the best that I've tried.

   

 The next thing from the range that I bought is the Chocolate highlighter, I kind of thought that it would be a chocolate toned colour, but it is the complete opposite, but still smells like chocolate. I think it's very pretty to look at on the inside, but the packaging isn't as nice as the other stuff in the range. The highlighter needs a few layers to have a good pay off effect but I do like it. It's very opaque yet pink, peachy and shimmery and a little iridescent, I think it will be nice in the summer and I will definitely be using it.

 Sorry the swatches aren't really in focus the highlighter wouldn't focus. The swatches are of the chocolate gloss, lip liner, and chocolate highlighter.

Starbucks and Scarves | Outfit

It's officially Autumn which means it's all things cute and cosy season, and I'm so excited to throw on jumpers and scarves over everything! I also had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the year, and it was as amazing as I remember it! I felt like I was looking very Autumnal the other day and thought I'd post an outfit post! It's a little weird that I took pictures infront of people for once but the lanes looked cute so I didn't do it at a backdrop for once.

I got the scarf in Primark (Penneys) and I love scarves they're actually the best thing about the winter months, although I don't think it's quite cold enough yet, but it's getting there. My yellow/Mustard-y jumper is also from Primark and it's one of the softest jumpers I own honestly think I'm going to live in it over the Autumn/Winter. My denim jacket is from New Look, it's not time enough yet to whip out the fur-lined ones. I'm also getting excited to wear boots and fluffy socks out even though I'll look like some sort of Eskimo.

Peachy Days | Outfit

I've been trying to experiment with styles recently and buy pieces of clothing that I love but usually wouldn't buy. I'm a very play it safe person when it comes to fashion. Simple and plain things are my saviours. I buy very plain shirts and don't wear anything out of the ordinary. I see things with pops of colour or a slightly different style than I'm used to and assume it won't suit me, I'll get bored of it or I won't wear it. I'd been eyeing up a pair of pale pink brogue style shoes in Clarks recently and I never buy any shoes that aren't white or black so considering buying pink shoes was a bit different for me. Admittedly the shoes aren't crazy, the outfit itself is still quite simple and subtle but I feel like the shoes definitely add something so nice to the outfit.

 

      

The location wasn't really the best for photos but I had no other opportunity to take photos that day.
I really love this oversized denim shirt, it's really big as I robbed it from my boyfriend, but it looks better on me. I feel like it really works being a lot bigger than it's meant to be, it's from Bershka orginally. The shirt underneath is from Primark and it's one of the only things I thought was nice from there recently which is strange because normally I find a lot more things, other than PJ's. The aforementioned shoes are Hamble Oak in peach nubuck from Clarks and they are the cutest shoes I own. I had to visit a few shops to get them in my size. They cut out pieces at the side are so cute to show off a cute pair of socks underneath but I bet it'll be dreadful for the rainy weather.
