It's starting to get chilly and breezy as we approach the colder months, and although I hate the cold weather I love colder weather fashion, jumpers and scarves are just too cute! I started wearing jumpers again and got a new warmer jacket so I thought it was time to start posting more winter-y outfit posts.

Formal Embroidery | Outfit

I've been loving the embroidery trend over the past month and I've not bought anything until last week. I'd been eye'ing up clothes from Topshop and Penneys and wondering what to buy, they're both on point with their trend game. Shirts with embroidered pieces are elegant and formal, putting a flair on a plain old shirt and making both you and your outfit look more stylish and refined. The shirt in my photos is from Primark (Penneys) and I love how cute the flower pattern is, and how the pastel pink colour works so well with the white. 

 

For this slightly formal and gentle look I wore my favourite coat of all time. It's a beige sort of trench coat style that's not too long or too short, with a pretty fluffy collar and a belt to tighten and close it. I fell in love with it and I think it's the cutest coat that I own, except it's not too good for the rainy weather. It's from Miss Selfridge and they honestly have the cutest jackets at the moment I'd recommend taking a look before they sell out of winter style coats. To make the shirt less formal I paired it with a pair of Nike runners instead of boots to give a more relaxed and casual vibe.

Denim Dungarees | Outfit

I've been meaning to post this for a while now, but here we go. Dungarees are the cutest outfit accessory ever. Normally I look like a five year old, but in dungarees I look even more like a child. I feel so young when I wear them but I love them so much. I wore them so much during the summer with a shirt but coming into winter I've been wearing a jumper underneath and it surprisingly keeps me warm, and still looking very cute. The weather this week has gotten so cold that I definitely wouldn't be able to wear just a t-shirt under, I'd need many layers at this stage. I look so small in these photos and the mini pigtails in the photo don't make me look any older.

   

The dungarees and cropped shirt are both from New Look. I originally wanted a black pair of dungarees but I got these in the sale for twenty euro which I thought was a good bargain and good enough for me. I liked the baggy-ness of them and the ripped knees. The shirt I also got in the sale as I love Cacti I thought it was so cute - and it says 'You can't sit with us'. Literally so cute, although I did get it out of the kid/children section, most of the stuff there fits me and it's such a good bargain. If your a similar size to me definitely check it out. It just proves how big of a kid I am. Looking at these photos makes me want the warmer weather back already.

Anyone else love the dungarees look? Hopefully I'm going to get around to doing more winter style outfit posts soon as this is just a lil out of season, almost.

Cactus Stripes | Outfit

First of all, I love striped outfits if you didn't already know. If I ever don't know what to wear I'll probably throw on some variation of a striped shirt. My wardrobe is full of them. They're always in fashion and suit everyone, what's not to love? 

   

It's getting into sunnier weather which means I need to stock up on t-shirts and associated assortments. I saw the cactus on this shirt and I had to get it straight away as it was so cute. Who can resist a happy cactus saying 'Hug!'? Not this gal. The shirt is from H&M and was about twelve euro I think which isn't too bad. I just paired it with my favourite blue jeans and comfy shoes to complete the casual vibe. I'm trying to limit the amount of striped shirts I own now because I have to many, oops.

Does anyone else love striped shirts or anything similar?

Blood Orange | Outfit

Okay so I have never loved anything with a turtle neck before, I find they're not flattering on me at all and literally could never pull it off. Yet, while I was out shopping in H&M the other day, my boyfriend pointed out a half turtlenecked top and I actually liked it and then proceeded to try it on.I really liked it because of the red colour that it was I really liked it. I didn't like it too much at the time but since buying it I've grown to love it, what a change.

           

I actually thought originally that the top would go really well with dungarees or a pinafore. It's the first new spring clothing item I own and I love the sort of bat-wing style sleeves and the fact it's not too fitted. I apologize also that the picture quality isn't the best it was taken on a phone and it didn't come out too well.

Anyone else ever wear turtleneck shirts/jumpers? How do you style them?

Easter Bunny Shirt | Outfit

Hope everyone has had a happy Easter to begin with, I'm here to share my Easter themed outfit for the week. For starters, if anyone knows me they know I love rabbits and patterned shirts, so rabbit patterned shirt was a huge yes. The dungarees just make it look cuter.

   

   

   

The shirt is from H&M, patterned shirts are so fashionable right now, I've seen so many amazing ones recently and I want them all. They're so casual and professional. The dungarees are from River Island and I just thought they'd look super cute together, even though it makes me look five years old. Oh well. I will admit it looks a little like a school uniform though.

Troubles Fade Out in the Open | Outfit

Hey guys, I'm back again with another outfit post.
  I'm really enjoying making them recently, I feel like I'm going to continue doing a good amount of them, hopefully that's a good thing. Right now the weather is between sunny and slightly warm and then absolutely freezing. There is no in between so you have to dress for every weather which is slightly annoying.

   

I saw this wall while venturing around shopping one of the days last week and couldn't resist taking pictures in front of it, I do love a good slogan wall. My jacket is from Forever21 and is actually ridiculously heavy and warm even though it doesn't quite look it. I also thought you can never go wrong with a simple plain jumper and jeans, so cozy. I've also been wearing these red boots too little compared to how often I should wear them, I can never match them with anything and they hurt my ankles but I still love the colour and style of them a lot.

Whats everyone else been wearing this month? 

Denim Skirt | Outfit

I think I've become obsessed with denim pieces over the past month, is it a bad thing though? I don't know what inspired me to want a denim a-line skirt but I've been looking for a really nice one with buttons for ages, such a random thing. Up until recently I haven't been much of a skirt wearer, but now I am obsessed with a line style skirts and the way they sit on your figure. I think I was inspired by Clara Oswald in Doctor Who who has the most amazing skirts and I always watched it thinking I love her fashion I need to find some really nice skirts. That's when I went out to find a skirt I'd actually wear on a daily basis, I'm really good at telling anecdotes.

    

 I got this skirt in New Look for twenty-five Euro which isn't too bad. It's high-waisted and I got it in  size up from what I am because they didn't have a smaller one and I thought it would be fine for stuffing woolly jumpers into like this one. It is a little bit big but I think a smaller one would have annoyed me for tucking things in anyway. I love how dark the denim is and that it's the perfect length, not too long or too short. I think it's somewhat classy and stylish and adds a bit more effort into an outfit that might otherwise look a bit mundane.

Does anyone else have a denim skirt or loving a-line skirts recently?

Winter Denim | Outfit

I love denim jackets so much. As soon as I see someone wearing a denim jacket I'm literally eyeing them up to see which kind of denim jacket it is, because I always wanted to find which one I wanted to buy, I'm pretty much obsessed with the whole look though. They're so casual and edge-y and they always make everyone look ten times cooler than they already are, doesn't really work for me but that doesn't matter. Eventually on my hunt for the perfect denim jacket for me, I found it.

   

The jacket I finally bought, well got for Christmas actually, was this one from the mens section in Berskha. It was fifty-five or fifty Euro, which was good enough for a good jacket. I liked this jacket because it wasn't too long and wasn't too short, the defining factor for me. It's really heavy and sturdy, it actually has stones inside it and I'm not too sure if it's to add weight or to keep creases out of it. The inside torso is lined with fur, which I think is super cute and great for winter for warmth, but it's also not too heavy to wear in summer. It also has some nice purple plaid designed detailing underneath the collar which you can't really see in the photos but in person it adds a splash of colour. 

   I do find denim hard to match with things sometimes though but other than that I wear it a lot, it makes me feel cool.

What I wore: Belsonic Festival Trip

To end my continuous post about that tiny trip I had, I decided to do an outfit post as I bought clothes specifically for the little trip, I really don't get out much can you tell? Both of the outfits are from Forever 21, a shop I never buy clothes in but I went in a few weeks ago and actually wanted to buy everything I saw in the shop which was really strange. I'll be in there more often from now on.

My first outfit is what I wore to the Belsonic festival, where it actually rained all day, what a great choice by me. The dress was only 14 Euro I think and I always struggle buying white dresses. They're always way too see through or too hard to keep clean. This one isn't that tight and even where it is, the material is too thick to be see through. It's both casual and dressy depending on what you do with it, which I love, plus the price was good, where could you go wrong?

My outfit for the second day was one of those off the shoulder tops that I wanted to see if I could pull off. You can wear this without showing off your shoulders too which I love about it. It's really flowy and easy to wear. It was 16 Euro I think which was also pretty good. I'm probably going to wear this a lot now even though it's getting into winter clothes season.

Anyone else shop in Forever 21 at all?

OOTD: Yellow Raincoat

I cannot tell you for how long I've wanted a yellow raincoat but it's a long time. I was looking at one in Urban Outfitters for about a hundred euro and I was saving up to get it but I went to a kilo sale recently and they had this, which was cheaper and very similar, so I got it instead. Either way I'm happy with it.

 

How cute is it? I feel like I'm out of some cartoon where when it rains someone always has a yellow raincoat. It's so cute for summer, it's not heavy at all and is good to have just in case it rains out. It adds colour to any outfit, as you can see here I'm wearing all black, surprise surprise. I've seen so many people wear yellow raincoats out in the streets and I've always been jealous but now it's all good. I seem to have this gravitational draw towards all things yellow recently too I'm not too sure why because it's not a colour I thought I'd ever wear but now I'm wearing it so much and love it. Give it a go if you don't normally wear yellow, you might love it too.
