Maybelline the Falsies Mascara

I have heard so much amazing things about this product and I finally decided to buy it and test it out for myself. Now it's genuinely my favourite mascara ever.

Maybelline the Falsies Volum' Express retails at €11.99 in Boots. It comes in a relatively big tube and the brush is curved. The curve fits around the shape of my lashes like perfectly from top to bottom. It makes them look so much longer than they actually are. I normally wear eyeliner on my top lashes to make them look fuller but with this mascara I don't feel the need to do it. It doesn't clump your lashes even after two coats and is really good for keeping your lashes seperated and long.

I can't imagine I'm going to find a better mascara anytime soon but I am exteremely happy using this one anyway. It has definetly lived up to all it's hype and I completely understand people who say it's one of their favourite mascaras.

Anyone else have a similar opinion on this product?

Gaeltacht Blues

I went away for three weeks down to a gaeltacht and honestly it was one of the best times of my life. For those of you who don't know what a gaeltacht is, it's irish speaking parts of Ireland.

I'm not going to write about what gaeltacht I went to just going to write about it in general. I stayed in an amazing house with three other girls, two of which are my best friends and one whom I'd never met before but we became very close over the three weeks. We had classes every morning. Sports, dance and music in the afternoon or another activity, then a ceili or activity in the night. There was always something to do and the people were so welcoming and I made such good friends there. We did some other activites like trips shopping and to the beach. My favourite was kayaking, where I got to try a double kayak for the first time and I really enjoyed it.

I've been home less than a week now and I'm already missing it so much. There's such a difference living in the country and coming back to the city. I always thought I loved the city a lot but I've come to realise how much I love the countryside and how pretty and peaceful it is.

I'm writing this post because I want to say if you are still able to go to a gaeltacht you 100% should go, it's an amazing experience and I regret not going when I was younger. It was such a good way to spend my summer and I've made some great memories too. If you live in Ireland and you've got the money, definetly consider going, you won't regret it!

Costa Strawberries and Cream Cooler

I'm surprised a post about Costa hasn't already made an appearance on my blog. I am a huge Costa lover, it has always been top of my list of favourite coffee shops. I feel like it's so much more underrated than it should be when it's just as good as Starbucks if not better.

I used to only ever buy tea and hot chocolates going to any coffee shop but I began to get really adventurous with trying different drinks out. I tried the 'Strawberries and Cream' cooler from Costa last year sometime and I instantly became obsessed with it. It tastes exactly like it's name and it's just the perfect amount of sweetness and fruitiness all in one. It's my favourite summer beverage because it's blended with ice and it's just super refreshing. I always get extra cream on top also just to make it even sweeter and most of the time you get a strawberry sauce on top with real strawberry bits in it.

If you're ever in costa you should give it a go.
